Refua uses analytics and marketing cookies only after you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can decline at any time. Google Tag Manager never runs on the self-check, intake, portal or results pages, and health answers are never shared with advertising platforms.
Use of artificial intelligence
Refua may use artificial intelligence tools to support its services — for example to help prepare visit summaries, organise information and improve the website experience — in accordance with the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). AI tools do not make clinical decisions; care decisions are made by qualified clinicians. Personal health information is handled with appropriate safeguards, and AI processing of health information is subject to the same privacy obligations as any other handling of that information.
How website information is used
Refua keeps limited first-party attribution for referral visits, enquiry clicks and confirmed enquiries. Clinical self-check answers are only shared with our clinical intake when you explicitly consent, and are never sent to advertising platforms or our CRM. Please do not include medical details in general enquiries.
