Self-Recorded Clinical Interview (~20 Minutes)
A structured video interview allowing our team to evaluate communication style, professionalism, virtual care readiness, and patient interaction approach.
Credential & Compliance Verification
We verify:
- Active licence status
- Good standing with your regulatory college
- Identity verification
- Telehealth insurance coverage
- Legal authority to practice
Clinical Leadership Interview (~30 Minutes)
A one-on-one meeting with a Refua clinical leader to discuss experience, patient care philosophy, virtual care standards, and platform expectations.
Independent Contractor Agreement
Approved providers review and electronically sign the Refua Independent Contractor Agreement.
Refua Academy Training & Certification
Providers complete online training modules covering:
- Platform workflows
- Privacy and security
- Documentation standards
- Virtual care best practices
- AI-assisted workflows
- Patient communication
- Clinical escalation procedures
Certification Examination
Providers complete a certification assessment demonstrating understanding of Refua standards and workflows. Successful completion results in Refua Certified Provider Status.
Private Onboarding Meeting
Meet with the Refua team to review platform functionality, operations, scheduling, workflows, and provider resources.
Mock Consultation
Complete a practice consultation before activation to ensure comfort with:
