Who we are
Refua is the platform. Ontario nurse practitioners deliver clinical care within their scope, with Care Specialists helping with booking and coordination. Company leadership and operational roles are distinct from clinical care.
The letters בס״ד stand for the Aramaic phrase בסייעתא דשמיא, meaning ‘with the help of Heaven.’ We place them on our website as an expression of our founder’s faith. Refua welcomes people of every faith and background.
What we do
Virtual Care offers focused Ontario NP visits. Metabolic Healthcare Concierge Service supports members who do not qualify for the GLP-1 pathway. Metabolic Healthcare Weight Loss Management serves members clinically approved for the GLP-1 pathway. These are the three current offerings.
Assessment, a practical care plan, appropriate treatment or testing, results interpretation, referral where appropriate and planned follow-up make up the intended care journey.
Why we do it
The name reflects a purpose: helping people understand their health and follow through on care.
Ontario is the current service area. Expansion to other provinces is planned, with no confirmed launch dates.

Refua comes from the Hebrew word רפואה, meaning healing or medicine. A name rooted in care, and a service welcoming to all.
