$45 CAD · Currently serving Ontario · Subject to clinical assessment

Is this the right starting point?

Care that fits your needs.

For an existing prescription that falls within the approved scope of virtual care. Not every medication or situation can be renewed virtually.

A focused NP conversation

The NP assesses whether renewal is appropriate. Additional monitoring, testing, previous records or an in-person review may be required.

Clear next steps

If appropriate, prescribing and pharmacy fulfilment follow the confirmed arrangements. If virtual renewal is unsuitable, discuss another care route.

Know the limitations

A renewal is not guaranteed. Next-day home delivery through our pharmacy partner. Dispensing is subject to prescription approval and pharmacy requirements.

Not for emergencies.Call 911 or seek emergency care if you need immediate help. Virtual care may not be appropriate for every concern.

The bigger picture

Not just results.
A way forward.

When testing is appropriate, the next step is understanding what it means for you. Refua connects clinical assessment, results interpretation and practical next steps.

Testing guided by your care

Your NP determines whether existing results or new testing can inform your plan. Virtual Care visits do not include program labs; tests outside program inclusions may cost extra.

Your questions, answered.

What can a prescription renewals visit provide?

The NP assesses whether renewal is appropriate. Additional monitoring, testing, previous records or an in-person review may be required. A renewal is not guaranteed. Next-day home delivery through our pharmacy partner. Dispensing is subject to prescription approval and pharmacy requirements.

Can I use Refua outside Ontario?

Refua currently serves Ontario. You must be in Ontario during your clinical appointment. Other provinces are planned expansion areas, with no confirmed launch dates. See our Service area page for Ontario eligibility information.

What will my care cost?

Virtual Care service fees and 3-, 6- and 12-month program totals are listed on our Pricing page. Programs are fixed 3-, 6- or 12-month terms paid upfront in full; there is no month-to-month plan. Each program page lists confirmed inclusions. Medication is paid separately; Virtual Care visits are charged per selected visit. OHIP or insurance reimbursement is not promised.

Does booking guarantee a prescription or referral?

No. Prescribing, testing, documentation and referrals depend on the NP’s assessment, clinical scope and suitability. A referral does not guarantee specialist acceptance, access or a particular wait time.

What happens after an appointment?

Your clinician explains your care plan and appropriate next steps, which may include treatment, testing, results review, a referral or in-person care. Any additional fees are disclosed before you commit.
