This supporting educational page explains GLP-1 within Refua Signature Weight Loss for clinically approved members. It is not a separate offering or a substitute for assessment, a care plan or ongoing review.
Currently serving Ontario · Subject to clinical assessment · Self-check required before program payment
Is this the right starting point?
Care that fits your needs.
Only a clinician can assess whether GLP-1 treatment is appropriate. Eligibility, prescribing boundaries and education require clinical review. Refua does not advertise a particular prescription medicine.
Assessment before prescribing
Review your health history and current care with an NP. A questionnaire, booking, payment or enrolment does not guarantee a prescription.
Monitoring & dose review
Where medication is prescribed, your clinician explains appropriate monitoring, dose review and follow-up.
Support when things change
Ask about side effects, treatment changes and alternatives. Approved contact, escalation and response arrangements will be stated before care begins.
Not for emergencies.Call 911 or seek emergency care if you need immediate help. Virtual care may not be appropriate for every concern.

Emergency care
An entry questionnaire, labs and clinical review determine GLP-1 eligibility. The Concierge Service is appropriate when GLP-1 is not currently suitable, with reassessment if circumstances change. Remaining membership value may transfer on an approved pathway change, subject to the applicable rules; credit is not automatic.
An NP video visit and your first labs with dashboard, so you can discuss your options with your data in front of you. The full amount goes toward any program you choose.
Programs are paid as a full-term total, but you don’t have to pay it all in one go. With Klarna you can split the cost into smaller payments over time, with a quick eligibility decision at checkout.

Your care, explained
If GLP-1 is unsuitable
Broader longevity care with nutrition, lifestyle support and relevant testing may still be appropriate. Discuss options with your clinician. Reassessment, if appropriate, is not a promise of future medication eligibility.
Treatment information here is general education. Seek personalised advice from a qualified clinician.
Clear costs

Service fees, full program term totals and confirmed inclusions are shown on this page. Program terms are paid upfront in full.
Your complete cost
Approved service fees and full program term totals are listed here, paid upfront for the fixed term. Klarna financing is available at checkout, subject to eligibility and approval. Taxes where applicable, renewal and cancellation deadlines will be stated before payment.
What may cost extra
Medication and additional treatment costs are separate unless explicitly stated. Virtual Care visits do not include program labs or supplements.
Your choices
If your preferred treatment is unsuitable, available care options and applicable cancellation or refund terms will be explained before commitment.
When testing is appropriate, the next step is understanding what it means for you. Refua connects clinical assessment, results interpretation and practical next steps.
Testing guided by your care
Your NP determines whether existing results or new testing can inform your plan. Virtual Care visits do not include program labs; tests outside program inclusions may cost extra.

Before you book
Your questions, answered.
Do I need to take medication to join?
Treatment is individual. Broader longevity care may be appropriate without GLP-1 medication. Completing a questionnaire, paying or enrolling does not guarantee a prescription or future eligibility.
Are labs included?
At-home blood collection through NiaHealth for the included heart and longevity panel at baseline and every 3 months while your program is active, with coordination, clinician-reviewed results and easy-to-read dashboard access. Refua’s panel scope applies, not every test NiaHealth offers. Any further testing depends on your clinical assessment.
Are supplements included?
Daily Dose individually packed daily vitamin/supplement packs, delivered monthly and included in both longevity programs, support a convenient daily routine alongside nutrition and fitness guides. Suitability is reviewed individually.
How often will I meet my NP?
The Concierge Service includes up to two 30-minute virtual consultations per month. Weight Loss Management includes monthly clinical assessment, monitoring and follow-up.
Can I use Refua outside Ontario?
Refua currently serves Ontario. You must be in Ontario during your clinical appointment. Other provinces are planned expansion areas, with no confirmed launch dates. See our Service area page for Ontario eligibility information.
What will my care cost?
Virtual Care service fees and 3-, 6- and 12-month program totals are listed on our Pricing page. Programs are fixed 3-, 6- or 12-month terms paid upfront in full; prefer flexibility? Monthly Weight Management is month-to-month at $149 for the first eligible month, then $179 per month. Each program page lists confirmed inclusions. Medication is paid separately; Virtual Care visits are charged per selected visit. OHIP or insurance reimbursement is not promised.
Does booking guarantee a prescription or referral?
No. Prescribing, testing, documentation and referrals depend on the NP’s assessment, clinical scope and suitability. A referral does not guarantee specialist acceptance, access or a particular wait time.
How do program renewals work?
Signature programs renew automatically for the same selected 3-, 6- or 12-month term at the price you agree to before checkout. To request cancellation, please contact us through My account. Staff handle cancellation requests; there is no self-service cancellation button. Monthly Weight Management bills monthly, while the $400 NP visit + first labs is a one-time payment.
Can I start with the $400 NP visit and first labs?
Yes. The one-time $400 starter includes one NP video visit, your first labs and dashboard access. The full $400 is credited toward any program you choose. It uses a founding spot and does not guarantee medication or program eligibility.
Which terms have founding-member pricing?
Founding prices apply automatically to the first 250 completed paid program enrolments for both longevity programs. Founder totals are $1,699 CAD for 3 months, $3,199 CAD for 6 months and $5,799 CAD for 12 months. Oura Ring is included on 6- and 12-month terms. Active paid Founder members receive 10% off all Virtual Services, applied automatically when signed in.
When does the Refer-a-Friend benefit apply?
If a friend enters your unique referral code at signup, you both receive a 5% voucher in My account. An available voucher can reduce the first payment for an eligible 3-, 6- or 12-month Signature program by 5%. It does not discount Basic monthly billing or the $400 starter.
