Who can use Refua?

Refua is currently available to patients located in Ontario, Canada. You must be 18 or older to book your own appointment. We are actively expanding to other provinces.

What services does Refua offer?

Refua focuses on private medical checkups conducted virtually by licensed general practitioners and nurse practitioners. We do not handle emergency or walk-in services.

How do I book an appointment?

Simply complete our lead form, sign the mandatory medical release, and then select an available time through our live API booking system. Appointments are 100% virtual.

Is Refua free?

Refua operates as a private coordination service. Fees vary depending on the clinician and appointment type, and will be clearly displayed before booking.

How secure is Refua?

Refua is fully PHIPA-compliant, using end-to-end encryption and Canadian data storage. Your personal and health information never leaves Canada.

What do I need for my appointment?

A valid government-issued photo ID, a private space, and a stable internet connection. The clinician will verify your identity before the session begins.

Can doctors from other provinces join Refua?

Yes. We welcome general practitioners and nurse practitioners from any Canadian province to join our partnership network as we expand.

What if I need urgent care?

Refua does not provide emergency medical services. If you are in distress or require immediate attention, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.
